Andy had last Friday off so we spent the day painting one of our apartments. Saturday Andy and Oliver (our hard working past-tenant) spent the day in our yard spreading mulch, picking up sticks, mowing and weed-eating. It took from 8 am to 4 pm to get it all done but it looks so good! I wish I could take some credit but I stayed inside and cleaned out closets. It's amazing how much junk you can acquire that you really don't need or ever use!
That night we had our second Supper Club at Nathan and Kim Mah's house. Nathan is Chinese so they made an Asian cuisine for us - very tasty! Kim likes to tease Nathan (and so do the rest of us) about his Chinese heritage. She told us of how a white girl taught Nathan how to use chop sticks in his younger years! Andy did discover a new favorite dessert - mochi balls (they were Japanese - not Chinese but still within the Asian theme of the night). Basically, it's breaded ice cream!

So, between the painting, yard work, beautiful weather, time with friends, and Mochi balls, it was a pretty nice weekend!
Thanks, Kim for making sure our ice cream tastes are well-rounded!
